In 1934, the Müller family built Carioba plant. At that time, the water volume of Ribeirão Quilombo was sufficient to move the factories and the neighborhood.
When Carioba plant was constructed, many stones were used to make the streets of the neighborhood.
The houses had wooden fences and gardens.
In the neighborhood, there was also a movie theater, a school, a hotel, a small market, two barber shops, a bakery, a pharmacy, a butcher shop and a musical group called "Jazz Band"
Carioba had always been ahead of its time. The family Müller brought many benefits not only to the district but also to the local economy. They have always put education in first place and it was the reason why industrial development took place.
All the Müller heritage sites were sold to J. J. Abdalla, and consequently, began the decay of the industry and the neighborhood.
With World War II, in 1939, the Müller family lost its power due to the fact that they were Germans. At that moment, the blue sky of Carioba began to be dark.
